Indoor and Outdoor Practice Schedule

Indoor Track Practice Schedule 2020

Days and Times:

  • We will meet on Monday, Wednesday & Thursdays from 3-5:30 pm (upstairs BOC)
  • Hurdlers & Varsity Throwers- meet from 3-4:30 pm (upstairs BOC) Throws will be picked to come because of Tuesday basketball games and limited time/space.
  • Distance- see Coach Walsh (East 272) for workout colanders. 
  • Pole Vaulters- see Coach McClain for drills to add in weight room


  • We will meet on Mondays and Thursdays from 4:30-6:00 pm to lift. 
  • We will do a team plyometric circuit on Wednesdays every week in the upstairs BOC


  • We will test the following events: 40 yard dash, standing long jump, standing triple jump, pull ups, push-ups, sit ups & overhead shot put throw (throwers). We will test once in January, February & March. This will help us identify athletes and show improvement over the conditioning component. Testing will be announced based on weather and we will let you know what day 1 week ahead of time. 

Outdoor Practice Schedule 2020

Days and Times:

  • We will meet on Monday-Fridays from 3:00-5:30 pm. Due to the large number of throwers throws practice sometimes goes later but that is mostly varsity and kids staying to work on specific skill building. 
  • We will have practice on meet days for all athletes not entered in the meets. It will be same time frame. 
  • We will be having a Sunday practice on Sunday May 3, 2020 at 5pm. This is because we are hosting a meet on Monday and are at Warrior Elk Tuesday this week. It will be encouraged for all Varsity runners to come and do the workout but will be open to all. More information will be available as we get closer to this date. 


  • We will lift on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 3-4pm. This will mainly be varsity based but we will accommodate as many people as we can at our time. There will be field workouts that will replace the weight room. I believe that you will find them to be dynamic and great for strength development.
