Who qualifies? Any current graduating senior (class of '08) that places (top 8) at their respective conference meet or district meets. All three Divisions are included here. Exceptions will be made for performance’s made during the season (i.e injuries, on DDN honor roll)
What are the teams? There will be a north team vs. south team. The teams are separated by Southwest District sections. All Dayton Districts in all divisions will be the south team, while all Piqua/West Milton Districts in all divisions will be the north team.
How to get nominated? Your head coach will nominate you and send application to the association. There is no limit on how many athletes the coaches nominate, just as long as they are members of the association and that the athletes fulfill the qualifying conditions.
After the athletes are nominated, we will take the top 4 marks from the north and the top 4 marks on the south to make 1 heat for each race. We will have two relay teams for all relays, so any individual not making it in individual races will be able to run on a relay.
Awards: Large Medals for top 3, medium medals for 4th – 8th, There will be a traveling team trophy as it will be a combined boys and girls team scoring. We will have 3 athlete of the meets – sprinter/distance/field; all voted by the athletes. Plaques will be given to athletes.
