This is a track meet, in relay format, to showcase your top Junior Varsity athletes who may not have been able to compete in too many varsity meets this year.  This meet is set up like a regular varsity relay meet, so it will give your student athlete a feel good situation and the recognition they deserve.

You will be able to enter at least 1 relay team and 4 individuals for each field event.  Field event marks will be a 4 person total.

Order of events:

4x200 shuttle relay 30”
sprint medley 1-1-2-4
Middle medley 8-4-4-8
4x100
4x100/110 shuttle hurdles 30” and 36”
Distance Medley relay 12-4-8-16
Pyramid Relay 2-4-6-8
4x400
Weight Man’s 4x100 relay
Field events will be shot put, discus, high jump, long jump and pole vault

Field events will begin at 5:00 p.m.; running events will begin at 5:30 p.m.

Admission will be $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for students.  Concession will be available and t-shirts will probably be on sale.

Again, this is a junior varsity meet, please adhere to that.  If you have a number of kids to form a 2nd team, just contact Matt Somerlot or Mike Fernandez, and we will accommodate what we can.

$50 is the entry fee, please make check out to Metro Dayton Track Coaches Association (not to Wayne High School or Centerville High School.)

Coaches, we’re going to ask for your help in running several events, please help us out.

This is a good thing, as we try to get track and field in the Dayton area more recognition, as well as our association.  Proceeds will help in our All-Star meet at the end of the season as well as picking our all-area athletes.
