Race To Read: Centerville Vs. Wayne
The Centerville High School Track Team is sponsoring a book
drive to collect gently used or new books for Children's Medical Center. If you have been busy with spring cleaning, you may have some books you could donate to help these children pass the time during their stay in the hospital. Free up your shelves for summer reading books! We will have a donation box in our IMC's throughout the district until May 2nd to collect the books. Books can be fiction, non-fiction or activity type books.
The Track Team would also like to invite you to come out to their May
6th track meet against Wayne H.S. Here's some information about the
meet:
1) Meet is Tuesday, May 6th at 5:00pm vs Wayne (boys & girls) @ CHS.
(it will also serve as senior night for CHS)
2) Admission is a book (collected by our track parents at the door) or a
cash donation that will go towards books to purchase.
3) The meet is called the WarriorElk challenge and it involves a traveling
trophy that is determined by a combined score from the girls and boys meet.
The award is a flag that will travel & stay with the winners each year.
4) WCWT will provide live race-by-race coverage on 101.5.
Please join us for a fun, family evening of track and field events and in
our efforts to support Children's Medical Center in Dayton.
