2017 Paperwork Requirements
If you have not been in a sport at CHS this school year then you will need the following paperwork turned in by December 16, 2016 (pre winter break). You will need these forms (available from the Centerville Athletics site) to be able to compete on our track team this spring. 1) Co-Curricular Code of Conduct (4 pages) 2) Ohio Department of Health Concussion Info Sheet (2 pages) 3) Emergency Medical Form (1 page) 4) OHSAA Physical Form (6 pages) These forms MUST be in by the end of 2nd quarter to be able to be eligible for indoor meets. If you have done another sport at CHS (or even tried out) you are all set to practice & compete. Pay to Play Fees** School Individual fee- $225.00 High School Maximum Individuals fee- $450.00 (all sports you have played 2016/17) District Family Maximum fee- $563.00 (includes middle school & high school) TEAM Fee- $60 but you can take $15 off of each concession slot you or your family worked this fall. ** If you cannot pay this fee please see a coach to work out payment plan or some way to make it happen for you to be in the program. |

5th Annual Trivia Night Fundraiser
5th Annual Trivia Night Fundraiser Date: Saturday February 4, 2017 Time: 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm (doors open @ 5:30 pm) Location: Central Commons/Gym @ CHS Registration: starts @ 5:30pm at CHS Back of Central Cost: $5.00 per person or $40 per table (8 person teams max per table) Who can play: Open to all ages Pre-Registration: send to Matt Somerlot: 500 East Franklin St Centerville, Ohio 45459 |
State Indoor Team Runner-up x 2
The track programs competed at the state indoor championships this weekend and BOTH teams captured runner up finishes. As a program, it was an awesome day. We had 7 school records, 13 all-time school top 5 performances, 17 all state performances and 3 individual state champions- Lainey Studebaker in the 800 meters, Isis Trotman in the 20lb weight throw and Ilyaas Motley in the triple jump (all 3 in school record efforts). Caleb Anthony finished 2nd in the 60 hurdles in a school record time of 7.99, Ilyaas was 2nd in the long jump while Xavior Motley was 3rd in the long jump and 8th in the triple jump. Ben Andreatta was 3rd in the high jump tying his own school record, Kelli Walsh was 3rd in the 3,200 meters in school record time while Savannah Lowe was 7th, Isis was 5th in the shot put and Reshanna Simon was 7th in the weight throw. Kennedy Coker placed 6th in the triple jump to close individual scoring. The girls 4x800 team of Victoria Angelopolous, Taylor Malchow, Laura Drew & Kelli Walsh placed 6th, the girls 4x4 team of Victoria and Sophia Angelopolous, Lainey & Jasmine Broner placed 6th and the boys 4x4 team broke a 12 year old school record by 3 seconds- Caleb Anthony, freshman Yariel Soto, Andrew Craig and Grant Tinnerman placed 4th to close scoring. |
Girl's XC - State Championships
Support the girl's XC team this Saturday, 11/7, at 12:30 pm in Hebron, Ohio (2 hour drive for a lifetime of memories). The girl’s XC team is running for a state championship- car pool to come watch and cheer on the girls as they “Roll” to a state title! |
