Centerville Track & Field 1st Annual Trivia Fundraiser

The 1st annual trivia night is Saturday January 26, 2013 at 7pm in the West Commons of Centerville High School. The doors will open at 6:00 pm and trivia will start @ 7:00 pm and conclude at 9:30 pm.

The cost is $5.00 per person or $40.00 per table (all tables seat a maximum of 8 people)

No early registration - all tickets sold at the door

The event is scheduled to be a family friendly event where everyone can come and have a great evening. It is encouraged for everyone to come out and enjoy this awesome event and support Boys Track & Field at Centerville High School.

We will have two tables for prizes – one section of tables with raffle items valued up to $20.00 and the other tables with raffle items valued at over $20.00.

We will be doing a 50/50 raffle throughout the event and that cash prize will be drawn at the conclusion of the raffle drawings, just prior to final trivia results are announced.

The team trivia event will be rounds of trivia and raffle prizes to bid on all night. There are up to 8 people per team and the 1st place team will win $40.00 at the end. Each round will win 10 bonus points added to their final score.

There will be snacks and drinks available or you can bring your own for the event - NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED!

Trivia topics will range from current events, movies & TV, music, sports, geography and Centerville High School. There will be 6 rounds of 10 questions and all ties will be broken with a music question. The questions will be projected onto a video board and head track coach Matt Somerlot will MC the trivia night.

We are looking for donations for raffle prizes, food & drinks for the event or any other service from local businesses and families who would like to contribute. All donations will be recognized on the web site and in a full page ad in the CHS Booster program in 2013 and all Elk’s home track meets during the upcoming season.

All profit goes towards the purchase of a new high jump pit, a new pole vault pit, new pole vault standards and improvements made to the field event area at the track and field complex at CHS.
