Favorite Meet |
Out of State - Arcadia Invite in California. As a senior in high school (spring of '94) I was able to meet Marion Jones and Suzy Powell at the meet. And I ran there as a junior and a senior in the DMR.
In State - Fairmont Firebird Invitational and Regional Fairmont because of the local and community feel, great weather, and great events when the steeple chase is contested and the Regional because it is the culmination of the season, the start of the big show

Best Track Memory |
As an Athlete - finishing 4th in the state in the 1600 as a senior--and finishing 10th in the 3200. After barely missing to qualify as a freshmen, sophomore and junior in high school to the state meet--it meant a lot to finally get there and be on the podium (which was top 6 in the state in 1994)
As a Coach - last June when the 4x800 team won the regional in 7:51 and then finished 3rd at the state meet. First time I coached an All Ohio athletes or athletes

What Does Track Mean To You |
Track means 3-5pm everday for my entire life. It is what I have done since I was in first grade after school into high school, college and now as a coach. I have been around track for 25 years now and it is who I am. |
